„Vedeli sme, že chceme investovať vyššiu sumu financií do marketingu. Po krátkej chvíli sa začali dostavovať výsledky. Pribúdajú zákazníci, pribúdajú objednávky, naša firma rastie podľa plánu.“
PPC for online stores
E-commerce advertising run by profit, not clicks
Google Ads, Meta Ads and e-mail for Upgates stores. We run budgets by margin and cost share of revenue per channel, we control measurement inside the store from day one, and the report shows what you put into ads, what you cleared and what was left. Not clicks, not revenue.
Who it is for
The agency reports clicks and ROAS, we do not see profit
Dashboard numbers look fine, the bank account at month end does not. We want to know what we put in, what we cleared and what was left.
Cost per order keeps rising and nobody knows why
A few years ago a conversion cost a third. Budget goes up, orders do not, and nobody can say where it breaks.
Customers buy once and never come back
We pay for every new customer again. We have no newsletter, or nobody reads it and the database is dead.
How much does your online store really earn?
Not revenue. What is left after VAT, cost of goods, shipping, payment gateway, gifts and advertising.

How we work
Why agency numbers often do not add up
A typical agency says: average order 25 €, cost per conversion 9 €, going well. But the average includes the brand campaign, where people search your name and already know what they want. The real cost of a new order is elsewhere. We evaluate brand campaigns separately and the report shows both numbers.
Margin is the entry condition
With a thin margin even the best campaign will not make money. So we talk margin on the first call, before budget. The first order has to cover ads and logistics; you start earning on repeat purchases.
Feeds straight from Upgates, no Mergado
We generate Google and Meta feeds directly from Upgates, with no extra tool or monthly fee. A change on a product flows into both feeds by itself and product matching in Meta holds. Most Upgates stores have this set up wrong, including ones many times your size.
Skip the newsletter and you rob yourself
A customer you already paid for in ads is far cheaper to reach by e-mail than again on Google. Automations: welcome series, abandoned cart, a reminder when a product is running out. We use discounts to collect contacts, not as a permanent way to sell. Stores with a regular newsletter see retention in the tens of percent and open rates of 30 to 40 % after cleaning the database.
Budget does not go to sold-out stock
Ad budget is wasted when a campaign sends people to a sold-out bestseller. From the data in BigQuery we see how many days of stock you have left before it happens. Ask “what did this product earn in Czechia in August” and you get an answer from data, not a guess.
Remarketing, honestly
Remarketing is not magic. For a smaller store it adds a handful of orders a week, not dozens. We run it because it is cheap, not because it carries growth on its own.
What you get
PPC and e-mail marketing
E-commerce campaigns are our daily bread. We run them by margin and ACoS per channel — not by clicks.
- Google Ads: Search, Performance Max, Shopping; Meta Ads and remarketing
- One condition: the online store runs on Upgates — that's where we control measurement from day one
- GA4, Google Ads and Meta CAPI set directly in the online store; server-side tracking when it pays off
- Budgets by ACoS and margin per channel — we scale what earns
- Ecomail: automations, abandoned cart, a discount-code pop-up for new customers
Data and profit
One report where you see profit after goods, shipping, gateway and ads — daily and per country.
- Orders, customers and purchase prices from the Upgates API into BigQuery
- Google Ads, Meta and GA4 in the same database — ACoS and margin per channel, customer retention
- Looker Studio down to product level; stock forecasts for bestsellers
- AI-ready data: Claude queries BigQuery directly
- This is the number we run campaigns by — not what the ad platform reports
Our work
All workCase study
A florist that has grown every year since the migration.
We migrated the store from Shoptet to Upgates, wired same-day delivery into the process and have run its Google and Meta campaigns and newsletter ever since. A year after migration revenue grew 59%, average order value 46% and organic traffic 27%. It keeps growing — this year it is heading for €400,000 from the online store alone.
